Energy Fuels Reports Q3 2026 Results, Advances Rare Earth Strategy
Energy Fuels completed the ASM acquisition and approved rare earth oxide construction at its White Mesa Mill, pushing its mine-to-magnet strategy forward.
Energy Fuels has released its third-quarter 2026 financial results, highlighting a series of strategic moves designed to position the Denver-based company as a vertically integrated player in the critical minerals supply chain.
Among the most significant developments, the company completed its acquisition of ASM, which includes a metals processing plant in South Korea. The deal forms a key pillar of Energy Fuels' so-called mine-to-magnet strategy, an ambition to control the full production chain from raw ore extraction through to finished magnet-grade rare earth materials.

The company also disclosed that its pending acquisition of VAC has progressed and is now expected to close in the first quarter of 2027. VAC's integration would represent another step in building out downstream rare earth capabilities, though the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions.
In a separate but related move, Energy Fuels' board approved the start of construction of commercial-scale heavy rare earth oxide circuits at its White Mesa Mill. The facility, already a licensed uranium processing operation, is being expanded to handle the separation of heavy rare earth oxides, a technically demanding process that relatively few Western facilities are equipped to perform.
Taken together, the quarterly announcements signal an accelerating push by Energy Fuels to capitalize on growing Western demand for domestically processed critical minerals, particularly as governments and automakers seek to reduce dependence on Chinese rare earth supply chains.
